Caesars Entertainment announced that its corporate philanthropy platform, the Caesars Foundation, has donated more than $3.3 million to US national and local nonprofits. This year’s recipients include a range of companies focused on children’s issues, food outlets for the needy along highways and charities. Also included in the list were longtime partners such as the Clean the World Foundation, the International Center for Responsible Gaming and the National Park Foundation.
The Public Education Foundation and the National Council for Women’s Entrepreneurship this time also received funding under the initiative.
“Gifts are for organizations that align with Caesars Entertainment’s core values, including not-for-profit companies focused on responsible gaming, sustainability and diversity, equality and inclusion,” the operator said in a statement.
“At Caesars Entertainment, we are focused on delivering value to the communities where our guests and team members live, work and play. These funds will provide critical support to communities and programs in need across the US,” said Heather Rupp, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Caesars Entertainment.
The company added, “The Foundation is committed to supporting the Caesars Entertainment communities with an ongoing commitment to economic development while improving the quality of life for team members, their families, and society as a whole.”
As the gaming giant notes, the Caesars Foundation is a private foundation funded by casino resorts owned or operated by Caesars Entertainment. The body also serves as an organization through which the group supports non-profit programs.
